As I sit here working, I cannot help but take a break to post to my blog. I had a very interesting conversation today with a former colleague of mine, and it left me thoroughly disgusted.

I am one of the first people who preach about a woman’s choice. I think abortion is an incredibly personal thing and the motivation for each woman having an abortion is specific to the woman’s needs.

I believe abortion should be regulated though. Abortion is becoming a form of birth control. This is incredibly dangerous to the mother. It is too high risk to be done repeatedly. It should not be allowed as birth control.

I personally believe if a woman is having abortion after abortion because she is poor and keeps getting herself into unfavorable situations, then for the betterment of society she should have to have her tubes tied or burned or whatever they do so the chance of her getting pregnant is slim to none.

I say this because the people who abuse abortion typically already have a few children, are excessively below the poverty level, or are single parent households with a new daddy for every baby. It happens in all races and to people of all colors of the rainbow so I am not implying that. However, some abortions are needed, which gets me back to the conversation I had and my thoughts on abortion.

Abortion should not be completely outlawed. This is not just because my religion has the belief that life begins with the exit of the child from the womb/the first breath the baby takes. There are some circumstances where abortion must be legal.

In cases of incest (especially involving rape and young girls) abortion is one of the ways these young girls can survive. In cases where the mother will die if she does not have an abortion, I believe the mother deserves the right to choose her life or the life of her unborn child.

Katharine McPhee was an American Idol princess. In the beginning, she had it all. She was beautiful, seemed somewhat smart, and had a lovely voice. I, for one, thought that she was going to make it all the way to number one. I (and millions of others) believed Katharine and Chris would be the final two.

While Chris did not make it due to malfunctioning ballots, Katharine made it to the last American Idol show. In the end, she was up against the Lounge Lizard King…Mr. Soul Patrol himself…Taylor Dicks…uh I mean Hicks.

By the final show, I was secretly hoping she would not win. Of course, I didn’t want Taylor to win either, but that is a story for another blog. In the last American Idol shows, Katharine’s voice started showing signs of strain. Her voice would sound flat, she was forgetting words in her songs, and she was not showing star quality. She was a let down at a point where she was supposed to be impressing people.

However, fair is fair and Miss McPhee ended up being number two. Though the excitement of American Idol had died for me the day Chris left, once the winners were chosen everyone else seemed to let the thrill taper off as well, and Katharine McPhee was all but a forgotten name. Well…at least until Katharine appeared in the news again with the headline, American Idol saved my life.

As I read this, I could not help but shake my head. I did not know what her problem was but I knew that it was going to be more foolish than the headline was letting on. Sure enough, they did not let me down. Katharine McPhee suffered from Bulimia.

Mind you, this is just one of Britney’s photos in the magazine, Harper’s Bazaar. Others include the cover shot, where she is barely covering her bare breasts with her hands, a picture of a backless, black evening gown while holding her naked son, Sean Preston, in her arms, and another where she is lying down, sans clothes. Oh wait…she’s wearing a g-string in that last one.

I have so many problems with Britney posing naked, on so many different levels. I know that in 1991, Demi Moore started the pregnant magazine cover craze. She was body painted and placed on the cover of Vanity Fair. The difference between Demi and Britney is…Demi looked good.

It is true that pregnancy is a miracle, which deserves to be celebrated, but this is Britney we’re talking about. She’s not too bright, not too cute, and not anyone I’d want to see naked - or in a g-string when she’s not pregnant, let alone when she is.

What I find odd is the timing of this publicity stunt. Last Friday, she went on television wearing an outfit that was indicative of a person living in a trailer park. She spent the entire Dateline appearance wiping her fat hands over her wet eyes while begging the paparazzi to leave her alone. Come Monday (just three days later) this shy girl looking to stay out of the glittering lights decided to pose… nude…Okay!

Britney, who so desperately begged the Paparazzi to leave her alone, has just opened her naked self up to a major Paparazzio blitzing.

Forbes recently put out a list of the top 100 powerhouse celebrities. While I can agree with some of the names on the list, others have left me wondering how these celebrities got recognition to begin with. Sure, some of the list was made up of people I felt were warranted choices. Of course, many of them were not.

I just cannot imagine myself choosing Dr. Phil or the girls from Desperate Housewives as a compilation list of the hottest celebrities in the world. Thus, in my musings I have decided that since Hollywood is plummeting further into a sea of embarrassment and becoming a celebrity persona is as easy as being a porno-making hotel heiress on her rise to fame, then I should make a new list.

This is a list of the most infamous celebrities. However, these celebrities shall not be known for their money, power, or shock appeal. Oh, no…these celebrities shall be known as The 30Biggest Dildos in the Limelight.

Please note: These are not the biggest Hollywood dildos ever. Instead, this is a top 30 of the Biggest Dildos of the 21st Century. However, one day I might go about making a longer list just to give notoriety to all those deserving, hardworking douche bags.

1. Paris Hilton - There is only so much I can say about Paris. She is definitely an original. A high school dropout, born of rich parents, Paris gained fame in her debut role….PORN! That’s right…Paris was first known for her made-at-home porno, though it should noted she’s now known for having an insane amount of Greek shipping heir boyfriends.

Toss your bikini into the wind because Nudist Week is approaching fast! Just for clarification, am I the only person that didn’t know there was such an event?

Nudists are an interesting bunch. They are comfortable with their body and do not think anything is wrong with showing it off. They aren’t really hurting anyone by being naked though I am sure others would disagree with me on that one. However, these people are being overruled as more people start tossing their clothes and vacationing in the buff.

The good news is that if you want to be a nudist all you need to do is take off your clothes. There are hundreds of nudist vacation spots all over the world. Palm Spring is a popular destination thanks to constant sun and beautiful weather. There are also many spots in Europe, campsites, and Commercial Cruise Lines that can fill your vacationing needs.

Many of the resorts are clothing optional. So, if you get nervous about getting into the buff you can have some time to watch and learn from the experience nudists. Surprisingly, the U.S. has had a number of political nude-friendly men in the limelight. Some of those men were skinny dippers such as FDR, John Quincy Adams, and George Washington. Ben Franklin was also a popular nudist. He preferred lounging in the nude and taking what he called an air bath.
